Hello everyone!
I hope you have enjoyed this lovely long summer, I know I have! I can't wait to get to know all of you, both parents and students! It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures. I am so excited to see what this year has in store for us!
Here's a little about me: I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and am the middle child of three! I have a younger sister Madeline and an older brother Bernie. They are my very best friends! I graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and then moved to Cleveland to attend John Carroll University. I majored in Early Childhood Education and couldn't wait to start teaching! I student taught in first grade at Moreland Hills Elementary and was so excited to watch my students grow and learn so much. When I came home to Buffalo, I continued my studies at Canisius College where I earned my masters in Differentiated Instruction which helps me to teach many types of learners!
I have spent a bit of time in schools all over Buffalo in many different grade levels. Over the years I have met so many wonderful students and teachers who have taught me so much about the way we learn and grow as lifelong learners. The time I spent in many different first and second grade classrooms has always been my MOST favorite (shh!). I cannot wait to start a new chapter of teaching at Sts. Peter and Paul with all of you!
I am so excited to watch you become wonderful readers and mathematicians this year! I look forward to meeting many of you at orientation on Wednesday, September 2nd!
